Red reveal is a two part game using coloured plastic filters to unscramble messages printed in colour on paper or on a web page. These filters are usually orange or red but it is also possible to have blue reveal or green reveal*. When the filter is placed over the message panel or “red reveal” glasses are worn you can clearly see the message from the jumbled pattern that makes up the artwork.

One of the most interesting colour reveal promotions didn’t actually have any red reveal glasses. A pub promotion for a Cider brand required the consumer to look through a glass of its orange coloured brew at the hidden message panel, when placed against the outside of the glass. The image was filtered by the cider and hence using your “beer goggles” a message was revealed! .
Red Reveal works on TV or web pages too. The image is put on the screen and the red reveal glasses are distributed via your chosen channel to your target audience -only they will see the message!
