Touch & Reveal offers a novel way of hidding information which is revealed when the temperature increases!
A special thermochromic ink which is heat sensitive is used to conceal the message or image.  The temperate range in which the thermochromic ink  becomes transparent can be tailored to the promotion, for example in a heat reveal promotion the thermochromic ink can be chosen to reveal when placed in the palm or it can be set to a higher temperature so that a match must be held close before the message is revealed. It is possible to conceal colour images with this technique.

Cold Reveal works in a similar way -the message is revealed when the temperate drops. The mechanic for the colour change could be a cold drink or the game piece could be placed in a fridge or freezer!

UV ink changes colour when exposed to light depending on the needs of the promotion it is possible to have colour change that is stimulated either by UV light or sunlight.
