Thomas Cook used direct marketing to reach 100,000 people.Tipped into magazines and leaflets were decoders offering the chance to win £2000! The promotion drove traffic onto the website offering visitors the chance to see if they had won in return for leaving their details.
Repeat visits were encouraged as each week, for 4 weeks there was a new chance to win.This was achieved by incorporating 4 Codem On-line games into just one game card. The promotion built a database of leads for Thomas Cook to use for one-to-one marketing.The promotion generated a response of over 7%.
